The brief was for each designer to get two different graphic design styles and create a design based on the 125 years of Schwinn, my two given design styles were Futurism & American Kitsch . Headbadges were kept consistent on each design but with the aesthetic chosen and were all brought together to form the poster. Other design styles were Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Psychedelic, Hand Crafted, Pop Art, Swiss, Street Art, Early Modern/Constructivism.
The finished Schwinn 125th Anniversary poster. Metallic inks were used to give it some real pop against the dark navy/slate paper.
Too detailed to use on the final poster design but this was another version of my Futurism design.
A whacky take on the Chicago skyline, where the brand Schwinn was originally founded back in 1895.
